Ultra Chic Black + White Wedding in Toronto

This wedding has an amazing, ultra-chic vibe! Captured by Mango Studios, Hailey and Jason were married on a September day in the historic Distillery District in Toronto, Canada. The couple’s wedding featured a crisp black and white color palette with small hints of blush, creating a very modern, yet romantic, atmosphere. The gorgeous ceremony tent was transformed into a hip lounge for the reception. The main reception room had an industrial aesthetic, with exposed beams and brick, softened by tons of flowers. The dessert table was to die for, with red velvet cupcakes, a croquembouche tower, and salted caramel french macarons!

A few words from the couple:

We wanted a very modern and elegant wedding, almost like a black tie event; yet we didn’t want it to have a “hard” feel. We thought that the rustic look of the distillery district and the boiler house, combined with the enormous amount of flowers and candles would provide the perfect amount of “softness” to the evening. Our dream was to host an event where our closet family and friends (wedding size was about 150) could truly enjoy an elegant evening together in the city and not feel as if they were simply at another “cookie cutter” wedding.
