I adore the unique reception venue of today’s gorgeous wedding! Captured by Sharayamauck Photography, Jackie and Clint were married in a Catholic church on a lovely April day. Following the ceremony, the couple and their guests headed to a hip, urban event space in downtown Kansas City, Missouri for dinner and dancing. A delicate color palette of blush pink and soft gray was used throughout the florals, attire and decor. Jackie looks amazingly elegant in her one-shoulder gown, cage veil and soft up-do!
A few words from the bride:
We have come to the conclusion that we are a 2nd generation eHarmony couple. We met through 2 of our best friends who meet on eHarmony and have been inseparable since our 1st date! It all really started July 3rd while watching fireworks. We had met several times before, but this was the night Clint was going to make his move! It was starting to get dark and he knew that the fireworks were going to be starting soon. He decided he had time to use the restroom 1st, but while in the porta-potty, the fireworks started going off! Clint thought he was going to miss out on his chance to make a move so he hurried up and starting running across the lawn to where Jackie was. He stood beside her and started to get a little closer, then closer… Finally, their arms were touching. When she didn’t move, he knew he had a chance:)
For our wedding, we wanted it to reflect us. I am a bit of a DIY type person, so I did all the invitations and decorations. We wanted it to be elegant while still being warm and comfortable. And it had to have a little sparkle:) We just wanted everyone to have a great time!
