I love the bold, bright colors of this spring wedding! Captured by Kristin Hornberger Photography, Nicole and Eric were married last May in an intimate ceremony with friends and family in Indianapolis, Indiana. Eric proposed to Nicole on the beach in Florida, so a beach theme was a perfect choice for their wedding decor. Nicole carried a stunning, vibrant green, orange and yellow bouquet with a wonderfully tropical vibe. The couple’s wedding day was extra special, as they had waited for the moment they were pronounced husband and wife to share their first kiss together. A few words from the photographer on the couple’s love story:
“Nicole and Eric first met at their church. When I asked Eric about when he realized that he had found “the one” in Nicole, he said, “The man is the one that should know before he even asks a woman out. Which in this case was the deal! However it was not that easy of a thing to realize being that it does take some time to really confirm you found the one to spend the rest of your life with.”
When it came to the proposal, it happened on the beach in Florida. Upon their arrival and getting to their rental in Florida, Eric couldn’t wait much longer. He headed straight to the beach to surprise Nicole for the proposal. They started planning their wedding shortly after and decided a “beach themed” wedding would be perfect. They came across Community Life Center for their wedding and Eric had been there before. It was a perfect venue to set-up their gorgeous tropical wedding. Their favorite part of the wedding planning was just learning one another better.
Of all the exciting things happening on their wedding day, they are looking forward to finally becoming one on the wedding day! Eric said, “We both are very excited and compassionate about coming together as one. During our time of dating and courting we both decided to not kiss one another let alone anything else. We chose to remain pure. Although we’ve remained close, but not too close by Gods grace!” So the pictures they were really looking forward to on their wedding day in their words, “Oh the first kiss I would say. lol!” And I loved that they did take that special time when Mr. Charles Simmons, their pastor, said that Eric could now kiss his bride with a super long and romantic kiss.”
