Real Wedding: Emma + Jason in Chicago

This wedding was planned from a long distance, but you would never know by looking at the perfectly coordinated details! Captured by Shang Chen Photography, Emma and Jason were married last October in Chicago, Illinois. Most of the wedding was planned over the phone and internet since, at the time, Emma was living in London and Jason was living in Boston. The couple wanted to show their many out of town/country guests a distinctly Chicago wedding with delicious food and vibrant colors. Since Emma and Jason spent a lot of their relationship traveling, they named the reception tables after cities that are meaningful to them. In addition, they printed out a bunch of photos and scattered them on appropriate tables as old memories for guests to take home. In lieu of a traditional guestbook, Emma and Jason painted block letters that spelled out their names and asked guests to sign them. The bride ordered bulk flowers online and then assembled the bouquets, centerpieces and gerbera daisy place cards with her bridesmaids the day before the wedding.
