I am so happy Jenni from Ulysses Photography sent this beautiful wedding my way. Genevieve and John were wed in Tarrytown, New York at the Tarrytown House Estate last November. I love the bold, modern color choices mixed with some classic, traditional details.
A few words from the bride:
We wanted to have a fall wedding but not use traditional ‘autumn’ colors. Instead we chose jewel tones: dark blues, purples and green. We wanted the wedding to feel elegant and romantic but also warm and fun.
We had beautiful weather on our wedding day- it was a perfect autumn day in the Hudson Valley. It was warm enough to take pictures outside, and we watched a beautiful sunset as our cocktail hour began.
The best advice I got when planning my wedding was that the bride and groom set the tone for the whole day. If you are relaxed and happy, your guests will be too! I think you can tell from our photos that we took that advice to heart and had a blast.
