Real Engagement / Proposal: Laura + Tim in California

What a beautiful setting for a surprise proposal!! Captured by Lindsey Gomes Photography, Laura and Tim headed to Pismo State Beach in California for their annual Christmas card photo shoot with their adorable dogs. Little did Laura know, Tim had contacted Lindsey weeks earlier to let her know that he planned to propose to Laura during the session. He had a custom ring made, and when they found a spot with gorgeous light streaming through the tangled trees, Tim got down on one knee and popped the question. Laura said yes! The couple has an amazing set of images to remember this very special moment in their lives. Real Engagement Daniela + Adam in Charleston

I have always wanted to visit Charleston, South Carolina, but after seeing this gorgeous engagement session, I am dying to go! Captured by Chi Photography of Charleston, Daniela and Adam spent the day wandering around Charleston’s Waterfront Park. The couple kissed among the beach reeds, went for a stroll down a tree covered path, and posed in front of some beautiful brick buildings. I love the eclectic mix of beach, park and urban scenery.

Real Engagement: Karen + Ty in Nashville

This couple looks so genuinely happy and joyous in these gorgeous images! Captured by Jen & Chris Creed Photographers, Ty and Karen’s mid-October engagement session takes place in Nashville, Tennessee, where the couple lives and will be married in May. Both Ty and Karen are involved in education and have a real soft spot for children. Their session began in downtown Nashville for a few modern images with lovely city textures, followed by a stop at the Bookman Bookwoman bookstore, where Ty and Karen can often be found relaxing on Sunday afternoons. I always love engagement shoots that are filled with laughter and love, and this one is no exception!
