Downtown Denver Engagement Session with a Touch of Humor

I love how this engagement session is infused with a sense of humor! Captured by Lori Kennedy Photography, Briana and Carey spent a beautiful October day posing for their engagement session at Millenium Bridge in downtown Denver, Colorado. Briana and Carey had been dating for many years when Carey popped the question, so Briana’s first instinct was to say, “it’s about damned time”! This funny phrase was incorporated into the shoot on speech bubble chalkboards. The photos were used as humorous save-the-date cards to give friends and family a chuckle. Nacho, Briana and Carey’s lab-dane mix also joined in the session, announcing the wedding date with a cute chalkboard sign. The couple will be married this summer at the Denver Art Museum.

Adorable Farewell Brooklyn Session

I love the idea of doing a neighborhood session before a big move! Captured by Betsi Ewing Studio, Melissa and Raul spent a January day visiting a few favorite spots in their Brooklyn, New York neighborhood. The couple relocated to Mexico City (the day after the shoot!) and wanted to do a “farewell New York” session before their departure. Melissa and Raul eloped last May in a simple and sweet event at City Hall in NYC.

Beautiful Winter Engagement Session in Georgetown

I love the misty atmosphere of this winter engagement session! Captured by Sheaulee Ng Photography, Kim and Teddy spent an early December day wandering around the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington DC. Kim has been living in Washington DC since her graduation from James Madison University, but a proposal from Teddy convinced her to move back to New Jersey. The couple will be married in NJ this spring and plans to settle there after the wedding, so they wanted a DC engagement session as a reminder of their time in the city. The images of Kim’s stunning diamond engagement ring are a must see!
