Graphic Neon Pink Wedding in Perth, Western Australia

Wow, this gorgeous wedding is filled with thoughtful, unique details! Captured by Angela Higgins Photography, Jessica and Ryan were married this past December in beautiful Perth, Western Australia. A couple who doesn’t always follow the rules, Jessica and Ryan met to share breakfast the morning of their wedding before parting to get ready for the ceremony. Held in a park pavilion, the couple’s ceremony overlooked the Swan River. Jessica and Ryan’s adopted dog, Jack, was an honored guest, as he was incredibly sick just weeks before the wedding. After portraits with Jack, the couple headed to Fremantle for a few images together. Forgoing the traditional bridal party, this wedding was kept simple and very intimate. Just a short walk away, the reception was held at a local brewery. Potted succulents and vintage chairs completed the decor, accented by a bright, almost neon, pink. I love the unique wedding invitations; each was screenprinted by the bride and groom on tea towels as a wonderful keepsake for their guests.

A few words from the bride:

Ryan and I met while both studying graphic design. We clicked immediately and always knew there was something special between us. We wanted to have a really casual and creative, but also a stress-free wedding, where everyone we love could get together and celebrate. I was finding that the more elements I brought to my wedding, the more stressed out I became – so we decided to make it as simple as possible. The best idea we had was hiring Little Creatures to set up the venue and cater because they handled all the elements of the venue (including flowers!) and we just had to show up. Everything was beautifully done, and created a wonderful atmosphere that made our wedding amazing.
