I do love a wedding reception venue with a variety of modern art! Captured by Steve Koo Photography, Laura and Kevin were married last June in a beautiful ceremony at St. Juliana Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. Laura wore a stunning, custom dress constructed from the bodice of one dress and the skirt of another to create her perfect look. The bridesmaids wore strapless gray dresses with statement necklaces to add a modern touch. A reception held at the modern Intercontinental Hotel Chicago O’Hare included neutral centerpieces accented with bold purple uplighting. The hotel features rotating displays of modern art, creating the perfect backdrop for stylish photos. A few additional words from the bride:
“Kevin and I met at the University of Illinois, where friendship later translated to something much more. We had a vision for a wedding which was elegant romantic, and all of our vendors helped turn it into reality. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding day in which we were surrounded by such wonderful friends and family.”
