Real Wedding: Nicole + Ryan in Washington

I can’t help but love this rustic-chic seaside wedding captured by Abbey Hepner Photography. Ryan and Nicole were married this past June in Tacoma, Washington’s Waterfront Museum. This fisherman and his wife were drawn to this unique venue filled with antique boats and other nautical treasures. Natural elements, like driftwood, were utilized in the decor to further the rustic / nautical theme. A touching first look and ceremony overlooking the water are defining features of this wedding. Although rustic decor can become a bit to cluttered for my taste, this wedding employs a chic, simple rustic aesthetic.

I love the aesthetic look of the hanging lanterns with the rustic wooden structure for your ceremony combined with the industrial port setting. Really nice details!

Thank you! We worked really hard building the arbor and all the extras.  Abbey really captured the day for us.
