Here is a fun bridal shower that will make you long for the warm days of summer! Captured by Meridith Desmond Photography, bride Kate’s shower near Scranton, Pennsylvania featured a bold orange and fuchsia color palette and an assortment of graphic patterns. Homemade food and lots of thoughtful detail went into this gorgeous event!
A few words from the photographer (who was also a guest!):
One of my best friends from college is tying the knot and this was such a lovely bridal shower to attend and photograph! There were so many laughs, beautiful orange and fuchsia details to look at, hand sewn table runners in a fun tropical printed fabric, gorgeous flower arrangements throughout, delicious homemade food from the host and bridesmaid Bridget, and lots of love showered onto Kate for her up-coming wedding. I know Kate loves color and fun patterns ever since our Surface Pattern Design major days in college and well she got! While it wasn’t a total surprise, as she new the day and time, all the details and ideas were kept a secret to her. I have to thank Bridget and her mom for making all the food, sewing table runners, arranging flowers and opening your home to all the guests. I’m so excited to be photographing their backyard cocktail wedding later this year.
