This is a lovely, modern Arizona wedding photographed by The R2 Studio. Myndi and Dennis were married this past March in an outdoor ceremony, surrounded in desert scenery of Scottsdale, Arizona. They incorporated a color palette of bright green, purple and gray throughout the wedding attire and details. I love the rustic, sculptural cactus outlines contrasting with the couple’s crisp wedding style.
A few pre-wedding words from the bride:
“Well, the man and I have found that we don’t like to conform. First example, we are having 2 first dance songs. No cake, dessert bar instead. No guest book, postcards instead. No flower girl, 2 ring bearers (our nephews). We are also planning on having stations instead of a plated dinner, to which includes a mashpotini bar (can’t wait!!). I am still trying to convince him that a pickle bar is a good idea, but I think that he is afraid I will spill pickle juice on my dress. One of the reasons that we picked Troon North, is because it has a great outdoor ceremony site and the cocktail hour is on their patio overlooking the Phoenix lights. The reception is in a ballroom, which isn’t necessarily our number 1 highlight, but we loved the pretty scenery of the McDowell Mountains.”
