Sorry for the late post today…I have been so busy getting ready for the upcoming holidays! When planning my wedding, I had a hard time deciding on table numbers/letters/names. In the end, I decided to use simple dimensional numbers and paint them a vibrant yellow to contrast with our monochromatic green floral arrangements. These were very easy to make and could be easily personalized with your own font type, size and color. I ordered 7″ tall numbers from SJA Wood Design. I went with MDF because it is smooth and easy to paint, but they also offer various species of wood. I like SJA because they allow you to choose a number of fonts, wood thicknesses and heights. Aside from the priming and painting, since I used a sans-serif font, I also had to fasten a small support onto the bottom of some of the numbers to prevent them from overturning….something to keep in mind if you plan on trying these DIY table numbers! Since you can easily order letters and numbers from 2″-12″ high, the possibilities are endless… from table numbers to photo-booth props or escort card holders. Here is a picture of one of our tables:
