Real Wedding: Sarah + Ryan in Yosemite

Wow, what a stunning location! Captured by Sara France Photography, Sarah and Ryan were married in a small destination wedding in Yosemite, a location with a lot of meaning to the couple. Surrounded by gorgeous large trees and a waterfall, the ceremony was breathtaking. Simple details including single flower bouquets and a succulent boutonniere accented the intimate event. The bride and groom curated a wedding that they shared with their “nearest and dearest”. I love Sarah’s short gown and and jacket!

A story from the bride:

Yosemite is a very special and meaningful place for Ryan and Sarah. It is their “happy place”. Before the wedding, they had shared 3 amazing trips to Yosemite, one of which Ryan proposed to Sarah at the top of Nevada Falls on their 4 year anniversary. They couldn’t imagine a more beautiful and majestic setting for their wedding day. They both love nature and being outdoors. The wedding also provided a chance to share this wonderful place with their closest friends and family, and introduce them to one of their favorite destinations. The ceremony location offered a stunning view of upper Yosemite Falls. The wedding was simple and elegant. They were surrounded by beauty and nature on their special day, which couldn’t have been more perfect.

Real Wedding: Marina + Brian in California

I love all the fabulous attention to detail in this modern Springtime wedding! Photographed by Turn Loose the Art, Marina and Brian were married last April in a church ceremony followed by a community center reception in Diamond Bar, California. The bride, a California native, and the groom, a Virginia native, currently live in Brooklyn, New York. The couple incorporated an herb theme inspired by the beautiful garden they have grown in their brownstone’s backyard. This theme is especially evident in the invitations and paper products designed by the bride through her company, Made With Heart. Bright green and navy blue create a stunning color palette used throughout the floral designs, attire and decor. I absolutely adore Marina’s short gown and Brian’s tie (custom designed by Marina’s cousin, David Hart & Co.)!

A few words from the bride:

“It truly was an amazing day. Whenever I think about it or look at the beautiful pictures Britney & Joe took, it makes me very happy. It was really important to me and Brian that we enjoyed our day as well as our guests. We wanted our wedding to reflect who we are as a couple but also just throw a really good party and have a good time, with good food, friends and family. I think we were pretty successful.”
