Real Engagement: Marilyn + Fernando in San Diego

Get ready for an engagement shoot featuring absolutely perfect props! Captured by Marissa Rodriguez Photography, Marilyn and Fernando spent a beautiful day last February at Balboa Park in San Diego, California. The couple enjoyed a picnic, complete with wine, before climbing the roots of one of the most amazing trees I have ever seen. Later, a bright blue, heart-shaped umbrella serves as the perfect addition to some light-filled images.

Real Wedding: Lindsay + John in San Diego

This is such a fabulous New Year’s Eve wedding! Captured by Jenn Hopkins Photography, Lindsay and John celebrated the beginning of 2012 by exchanging vows in San Diego, California at the Hall of Champions. Being an architect, Lindsay brought her clean, crisp, modern style into every design aspect of her wedding. Gorgeous red dahlias provide a pop of color throughout the event. The reception was loaded with fun for guests, including a popcorn station, a photobooth, and a disco ball to set the mood on the dance floor. I really love the photograph of the bridal party throwing confetti on the bride and groom. What a great way to ring in the new year!
