Real Elopement (+ Day After Session): Angela + Christine in NYC

After many, many years together, today’s couple tied the knot in a New York City elopement. Once New York legalized same-sex marriages, Angela and Christine, who live in North Carolina, decided to wait until winter to elope to NYC for their 20th (!) anniversary! Captured by Jennifer Boyle Photography, Angela and Christine had an intimate ceremony with family and friends in Central Park’s Ladies Pavilion. Following the ceremony, Christine and Angela took everyone out for a fabulous lunch. The next day, the couple wandered around the West Village for a lovely day after portrait session. It is wonderful how these images tell a story and depict the excitement of two women who waited two decades to be able to say “I do”.

Real Wedding: Beth + Laura in Cambridge, MA

Upstairs on the Square is such an eclectic Cambridge restaurant, I am happy to see personalized wedding decor incorporated into this bold venue. Photographed by Ars Magna Studio, Beth and Laura were married this past June in an intimate ceremony in the restaurant’s main dining room. The couple employed a bright palette of pink, purple, and green into their floral arrangements and centerpieces. I love how the bright colors blend with the restaurant’s interior design without competing.
