Modern Colorado Engagement in a Field at Sunset

This engagement session has just the right mix of modern and rustic! Captured by Elizabeth Ann Photography, Brittany and Doug’s gorgeous sunset engagement shoot began at an old abandoned barn in their grandmother’s backyard. Next, the couple headed out into a beautiful wheat field for a few soft, dreamy images. Brittany is a little bit country and Doug is a little bit retro, but together they compliment each other perfectly.

Real Wedding: Audrey + Aaron in Texas

I love the use of bright orange in this Spring wedding! Photographed by AJH Photography, Audrey and Aaron were married last March beneath a dramatic sky in Dripping Springs, Texas. Audrey and Aaron spend a lot of time together, even working at the same Austin high school where Audrey is a teacher and Aaron is a baseball and football coach. The couple’s wedding utilized an earthy color palette of orange and gold throughout the decor and bridal party attire. This is a Texas wedding that mixes rustic elements with modern accents to create a wonderful atmosphere. I can’t get enough of the stunning sky!

Real Bridal Boudoir: Shannon in California

This bridal boudoir session has just the right combination of sweet and sassy. Captured by  Inkspot Photography, Shannon started her session in a chic, white slip while wandering the tall grasses in front of “Devil’s Mountain” or Mt. Diablo in California. This part of the session showcases Shannon’s sweet, sensitive side, and she looks radiant, contrasting the rustic, worn water tower. Racy black lingerie in the second half brings out her sexy, saucy side. A nearby corral provides a wonderful backdrop for these seductive images. I love the contrast of this session and how gorgeous and glowing Shannon looks!

A few words from Elise of Inkspot Photography on why she loves boudoir sessions:

“As a photographer, I love drawing out and capturing a woman’s beauty through glamorous images. boudoir images make my brides feel incredible about themselves. The experience is meant to unveil and help them appreciate their unique beauty. A boudoir session can be daring and risque, or sweet and simply beautiful.. or both! These sessions are a relaxing, pampering experience for any woman, and brides get to be a supermodel for the day. We start our session with the bride’s choice of champagne or sparkling cider, and a relaxing playlist sets a calm environment. It truly is a positive experience and a confidence-booster for anyone!”
