The glamorous bride is next in my new series of bridal fashion looks. Centered around a gorgeous mermaid gown that is super fitted on top and luxuriously voluminous on the bottom, this look is perfect for a bride with modern-vintage glam style. Colored jewel earrings, fun polka dot pumps and a simple black clutch complete the ensemble.
Tangerine Tango, Pantone 17-1463! A color description via Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®-
“Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it. Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”
What do you think? This is a much stronger color than last year’s color of the year. Do you see your 2012 being colored by Tangerine Tango? Here is a little color inspiration board to inspire you to incorporate this bold hue into your wedding design.
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day and my continued yearning for spring, here are two bright, happy pairs of sandals. The first, from Miu Miu, feature fun polka-dot kelly green canvas and adorable ankle straps. The second, from Diane Von Furstenberg, feature a beautiful satin ankle wrap sash that dresses up suede mules, both in a bright citron.
