Real Wedding: Carla + Alejandro in Atlanta

The bold purple in this wedding is so gorgeous! Captured by Brita Photography, Carla and Alejandro were married this past July in a beautiful church ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia. Since Carla and Alex are both Venezuelan, they incorporated many Latin traditions into their wedding day, starting with a ceremony entirely in Spanish. Following the Catholic ceremony, the couple and their guests headed to their reception where they partied the night away until two in the morning! The reception also included La Hora Loca, or “Crazy Hour”, a Latin tradition where everyone heads to the dance floor with oversized sunglasses, hats, masks, and noisemakers to keep the party energy high. It sounds like so much fun!

Spring Wedding with Bold Purple Details and a Ninja Turtle Cake

I love the bold purple colors of this gorgeous spring wedding. Captured by Olimb Photography, Cathleen and Wesley were married last May in a beautiful ceremony at Hurlburt Field in Florida. The couple’s engagement all started with a pack of gum! Deep into an online testing assignment, Cathleen was completely unaware that moments later, Wes would be sweeping her off her feet with a ring; a ring that was hidden inside a pack of gum. Cathleen and Wesley incorporated many Philippine traditions into their wedding day. They also incorporated Wes’ not so secret wish to be a ninja in another life with a few Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle touches.
