Downtown Denver Engagement Session with a Touch of Humor

I love how this engagement session is infused with a sense of humor! Captured by Lori Kennedy Photography, Briana and Carey spent a beautiful October day posing for their engagement session at Millenium Bridge in downtown Denver, Colorado. Briana and Carey had been dating for many years when Carey popped the question, so Briana’s first instinct was to say, “it’s about damned time”! This funny phrase was incorporated into the shoot on speech bubble chalkboards. The photos were used as humorous save-the-date cards to give friends and family a chuckle. Nacho, Briana and Carey’s lab-dane mix also joined in the session, announcing the wedding date with a cute chalkboard sign. The couple will be married this summer at the Denver Art Museum.

Chic Hotel Wedding in Downtown Dallas

I love a ceremony surrounded by downtown architecture! Captured by Jeremy and Kristin Photography, Kayla and Evan were married this past October at a chic hotel in downtown Dallas, Texas. The couple exchanged vows amongst friends and family, encompassed by towering buildings. The bride had a sweet first look with her father followed by a romantic first look with her husband-to-be. A deep navy blue was used to accent the otherwise neutral color palette. I love the touches of chevron on the invitations and cake!

Gorgeous Sunrise Engagement Session in Charleston

The lighting in these images is so gorgeous; worth the early wake up call! Captured by Jenna Marie Photography, Jenna and Seth kicked off their engagement session at 5:15 am to catch the stunning sunrise light in Charleston, South Carolina. Although the streets of Charleston are not a particularly original location for engagement images, backdrops like the sunrise lit city skyline and the empty famous King Street make this session truly unique.
