Downtown Denver Engagement Session with a Touch of Humor

I love how this engagement session is infused with a sense of humor! Captured by Lori Kennedy Photography, Briana and Carey spent a beautiful October day posing for their engagement session at Millenium Bridge in downtown Denver, Colorado. Briana and Carey had been dating for many years when Carey popped the question, so Briana’s first instinct was to say, “it’s about damned time”! This funny phrase was incorporated into the shoot on speech bubble chalkboards. The photos were used as humorous save-the-date cards to give friends and family a chuckle. Nacho, Briana and Carey’s lab-dane mix also joined in the session, announcing the wedding date with a cute chalkboard sign. The couple will be married this summer at the Denver Art Museum.

Real Engagement: Jen + Garry in Texas

I can’t get enough of the gorgeous lighting in this engagement feature! Captured by Loft Photographie, Jen and Garry headed to the Faust Street Bridge in New Braunfels, Texas for a sunrise session this past June. The unique architecture of the bridge creates a lovely, geometric backdrop. Following the sunrise on the bridge, the couple continued to a few more downtown locations. I love the staircase images!

Real Engagement: Ellen + Jason in Dallas

This engagement session is filled with lovely urban colors, textures and landmarks! Captured by Lauren Reynolds Photography, Ellen and Jason spent a winter day walking down the new Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas, Texas before it opened for traffic. This new bridge is sure to become a Dallas icon and it creates a wonderfully architectural backdrop. Next, the couple headed to the newly finished mural by artist, Shepard Fairey, for a few images with this contemporary piece. Ellen and Jason will be married this coming October in Dallas.
