I love how today’s wedding truly exudes the personalities of the bride and groom! Captured by Eternal Reflections Photography, Kelly and Kevin were married this past September in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The couple incorporated loads of color into their quirky and modern wedding. Bold hues of blue, purple and orange were used throughout the attire and decor. From the lego cufflinks and funky socks to the lovely clutches and bright confetti cake; this wedding is filled to the brim with fabulous details! A few words from Kelly on how she met Kevin and the inspiration for their wedding:

Kevin and I met through our best friends and for Kevin it was love at first sight but I needed more convincing. Thankfully, Kevin was quite persistent and had my best friend under his wing. Somehow he convinced me to go on a first date, which consisted of shooting guns at a gun range followed by lovely supper, and I was hooked after that!

Kevin and I are both very playful and love color. We wanted our wedding to reflect that. Our main goal, besides marrying our best friend, was to have a very relaxed, happy, loving wedding, for us AND our guests.

I am an avid crafter and Kevin is very hands on so incorporating some of our skills into the wedding decor was a must, as well as a penny saver. Kevin, myself and my amazing mother spent endless hours creating the yarn balls for the ceremony and reception, as well as signs, centerpieces and other super personal items. Kevin was the dream fiancé. He helped every step of the way and definitely had his say in the wedding – as he should.

Our wedding could not have been more perfect if we tried and it was a true reflection on who we are and the life we have together; simple, playful and happy.
