Color Palette Inspiration: Pantone Color of the Year 2012

I am sure you have already been informed, but in case you haven’t, the Pantone Color of the Year 2012 is….

Tangerine Tango, Pantone 17-1463! A color description via Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®-

“Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it. Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”

What do you think? This is a much stronger color than last year’s color of the year. Do you see your 2012 being colored by Tangerine Tango? Here is a little color inspiration board to inspire you to incorporate this bold hue into your wedding design.
