In August 2010, Kate married her best friend and college sweetheart. Following her wedding, she realized her continued interest in all the wonderful design opportunities associated with weddings. Formally trained in architecture, she applies her love of modern design to select inspirational events and images to feature on this blog.

Kate resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and their cat. She is an architectural designer by day and a wedding blogger by night.

While this blog is still a budding project, she hopes it will become a rich resource for modern brides everywhere.

    Hi, I am trying to price a Monique Lhuillier bridal fall 2011, style Starlight.  Could you help me.  I live in an island.  The bridal shop here doesn’t carry this brand.  Help.  What price am I looking at.

      If you are referring to the images on this blog, each photographer is credited within the post featuring their images. A few images are mine, but most are submissions from professional photographers. I hope this answers your question!
