Lately, I have been craving the simplicity of all white wedding details. Although considered traditional, white on white can definitely be incorporated in sleek decor and accents to create a beautiful modern atmosphere. See the inspiration board below for a few lovely ideas.
There are wonderfully colorful images in today’s engagement session! Captured by Elle Rose Photo, Mary and Kevin stayed in their bustling North West Chicago neighborhood of Bucktown-Wicker Park for an early April shoot. This artsy neighborhood was the perfect backdrop for vivid, urban images with locations ranging from a rail station, to a record store, to city streets filled with murals. The couple, who are both a bit shy, got engaged at home, which Mary described as “totally us”!
I adore the amazing light, airy, dreamy qualities of the above image! Photographed by JPP Studios, LLC, Dana and Mark were married last April in Chicago, Illinois in a ceremony at the beautiful Fourth Presbyterian Church. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Spiaggia with pink and purple floral arrangements accenting the existing decor. The couple’s wedding was a mix of city chic and elegance with a touch of patriotism. Mark’s cufflinks were a gift from Dana’s father, who received them from Ronald Reagan in the Oval Office. World renowned opera singer and the national anthem singer for the Chicago Blackhawks, Jim Cornelison, graced the event with his wonderful voice. Guests jumped and cheered as he sang “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the reception.
