Real Engagement: Katie + Chris in Lexington, KY

I really love this bride’s style! Photographed by Nikita Gross Photography, Chris, a firefighter, and Katie, a designer, held their engagement session at the Keeneland Race Track in Lexington, Kentucky. Katie is wearing a vintage dress and a bold necklace made by her company, KaVatee, that she started with a friend from Design School. The couple will be married at the Cincinnati Art Museum later this year.

Real Wedding: Tracy + John in Chicago

Get ready for another great restaurant wedding! Photographed by Paige Winn Photo, Tracy and John had a gorgeous, small wedding with roughly 40 guests. Since almost all the guests were from out of town, the couple rented a trolley to give their guests a private tour of Chicago. The ceremony and reception were held at Smith & Wollensky restaurant, with great food and dancing. Tracy and John night ended with a boat tour on the river.

Color Palette Inspiration: Holiday Red

It is hard not to draw color inspiration from the current holiday season. I love a wedding that pairs neutrals with crisp, clean, vibrant red.
